Leadership
Training
Managers must be developed to enhance effectiveness today and to establish a core group for
success in the future. Every organization has a culture. It is either created by leadership or it develops haphazardly from
past practices. Leadership must take a pro-active role in establishing, nurturing and passing on a culture of integrity and
service. This is accomplished through clear, concise, structured, and continuous leadership development.
Training
must be a process, not a one-time project. Gromax associates can provide the analysis and initial training necessary to implement
the process in your organization. We can provide the resources to ensure the maintenance of that process and a mechanism for
monitoring its effectiveness.
Public Safety Training
Public
Safety is the most frequent cause of litigation against cities. Liabilities exist with every response to a public request
for service. The actions of both the organization and the individual are paramount to the welfare of the community.
The
reason most cited in public safety litigation is "Failure to supervise and train properly." Governmental entities enjoy considerable
immunity and are granted great latitude in public safety due to the emergency nature of the responses. However, if personnel
are not properly trained and supervised, the immunities quickly disappear.
Gromax provides training by licensed
instructors with over 25 years of experience in Public Safety. Each instructor provided is a certified instructor and all
classes taught can be certified through the appropriate licensing agency for continuing education credits.

Instructor Training - Gromax will prepare your selected personnel to develop
job specific curricula for special needs. They will teach your people how to document the training to ensure limitation of
liabilities. We will assist Police Departments in securing certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards
and Education for a certified Law Enforcement Instructor in-house. We will teach the instructors how to interact with local
Colleges and Universities to supplement their training needs and facilities. Further we will show your people how to host
training schools in conjunction with other agencies. |

Developing and Implementing Emergency Plans - Our instructors will walk
Emergency planners through the process of assessing needs, developing contingencies, drafting a plan, training participants,
staging tests, critiquing and revising the plan, and documentation of the plan to meet Federal and State guidelines. |
Promotional Test Development and Administration [Public Law 143, Civil Service
Qualified]

organization manual. Procedures for hiring, promotion, discharge, sick leave, ADA compliance, Equal Employment statements,
